What are the construction methods of asphalt pavement recycling?
Asphalt pavement recycling technology can be divided into hot mix recycling method and cold mix recycling method according to construction temperature, and can be divided into centralized plant mix recycling method and in-situ recycling method according to different waste material mixing sites. Therefore, asphalt pavement recycling technology can be divided into four construction methods: plant mixed hot recycling, local geothermal recycling, plant mixed cold recycling and local cold recycling.
1. Plant mixing hot recycling is to transport the milling waste back to the asphalt mixing plant during the cold milling and hot paving construction of the old pavement described above, and mix and mix with the new asphalt materials, regenerants and new aggregates in a certain proportion in a hot state to form a qualified asphalt mixture.
2. Geothermal regeneration, also known as hot surface regeneration, mainly refers to the construction method of heating the old pavement surface to the required depth (generally no more than 3cm), scarifying the old pavement, adding reducing or regenerating agent, and re paving and forming.
3. Plant mixing cold recycling refers to the construction method of mixing emulsified asphalt or hot low viscosity asphalt with waste asphalt mixture and new aggregate at room temperature into recycled mixture, which is transported to the construction site and paved and compacted into pavement.
4. In situ cold recycling refers to the construction method of cold crushing, scarifying, adding emulsified asphalt and other admixtures, mixing, paving and compacting the old pavement.
The damage of old pavement base and the thickness of asphalt pavement surface should be considered.
