(1) When two or more pavers are used for construction, the distance between the two pavers should not exceed 10m, and they should be paved synchronously in an echelon manner. Wrong lane wheel tracks. The overlapping position of the upper and lower layers should be staggered by more than 20cm.
(2) Before paving, the screed should be preheated for 0.5 to 1 hour in advance, and the temperature should not be lower than 100 °C. The widening connection of the screed should be carefully adjusted so that there is no obvious segregation of the paved mixture.
(3) The paver must be paved slowly and evenly, continuously and uninterruptedly, without changing the speed at will or stopping halfway. The paving speed of the lower layer (ordinary No. 70 asphalt mixture) should be controlled at 2~4m/min. The modified asphalt mixture should be controlled at 1~3m/min. During the construction of the asphalt pavement layer on the bridge deck, the paving speed should be normal 80% of the road section is appropriate. Strive to stop work only once a day at the end of the day to improve the flatness and reduce the segregation of the mixture. The paving speed of the paver should be determined according to the output of the mixer, the supporting conditions of the construction machinery, the thickness of the paving, and the width of the paving.
(4) The control method of steel wire guidance should be adopted when paving the lower layer. When two paver echelons are paved, the paver on the side of the central isolation belt should be in front, and the height control method guided by the guide beam should be adopted on the right side. The non-contact balance beam control method should be adopted for the paving of the middle and upper layers.
(5) The paver should adjust the automatic material level devices at both ends of the auger, and make the opening of the material door, the speed of the chain plate feeder and the speed of the auger match. The surface of the mixture in the auger should be slightly higher than 2/3 of the auger, so that the height of the mixture in front of the baffle of the screed is consistent within the full width, and the segregation of the paving layer is avoided. Regularly check whether the screed is in the same straight line after being heated to avoid uneven slope.
(6) When the paving encounters rain, stop the construction immediately and remove the uncompressed mixture. Mixtures exposed to rain should be discarded.
(7) For local minor segregation, manual treatment can be used, but it should be eradicated when the segregation is serious.
(8) When the middle and upper layers are paved, the construction joints shall not be set at the expansion joints. After the bridge expansion joints are temporarily filled, the middle and upper layers shall be paved at one time. The construction joint of the lower layer should be set at the position of the bridge abutment transition plate.
(9) Asphalt pavement paving shall not be constructed when the temperature is lower than 10 degrees, and shall comply with the provisions of "Technical Specification for Highway Asphalt Pavement Construction". The loose paving coefficient of the asphalt mixture should be determined by trial paving and pressure testing according to the type of mixture.
