In the long-term use of asphalt pavement, diseases such as looseness, potholes, and spalling will occur. Pavement diseases not only reduce the traffic capacity of the pavement, but also deep potholes may even cause major traffic accidents. Therefore, potholes and damaged roads need to be dug up in time. At present, hot asphalt mixtures are mostly used for digging and repairing pavement potholes, which is feasible for pavement repairs with concentrated locations and a large amount of work. Too little is difficult to produce, and the construction unit is deeply inconvenienced by the operation of heat preservation and digging and repairing of hot asphalt mixture, especially in winter with low temperature and rainy and snowy weather. Therefore, the use of cold-paved asphalt mixture has become a good choice for the road maintenance department.
