(4) The porous asphalt pavement has rough surface, large structure depth and high skid resistance.
(5) Porous asphalt pavement is a low-noise pavement. Compared with ordinary densely graded pavement, it can reduce noise by about 3~5dB. Under rainy conditions, porous asphalt pavement will have a more obvious noise reduction effect.
The porosity of porous asphalt pavement is generally between 18% and 25%, while the porosity of SMA asphalt pavement is generally between 3% and 4%. In contrast, porous asphalt pavement can save 15% to 20% of asphalt mixture.Material consumption.
